Robert Pattinson only has to lower his head to get the girls going gaga for him.
The British actor - who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the massively successful Twilight movie franchise - is very, very shy, according to his costar Kellan Lutz.
"His accent and his crazy hairdo get the girls swooning," Lutz said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM radio show. "Rob's kind of shy, and he does this thing, when he's really shy, or when someone asks him something, he lowers his head down and the girls love it!"
However, Lutz insists the 22-year-old Brit isn't letting his new-found fame go to his head.
"He's such a humble guy," he told Ryan, "and I'm very impressed with him."

Robert Pattinson unsuccessfully tries to sneak his way past photographers into a hotel on Tuesday (March 3) in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old Twilight star recently said he “might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I’d like to do something independent … I don’t care if people buy it or not. I’d just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff.”
Pattinson also admitted that it was easy for him to nail down an American accent because “all of my favourite actors are American and I grew up watching American movies…It’s weird because there were a lot of British people up for this part. The author’s [Stephenie Meyer] choice was an English guy which was really strange. She wanted all English guys to play Americans. I think there is something about this myth in America of British people being classy.”
Rob tells movieonline.com, "I might make an album but not through a record company or anything. I'd like to do something independent.
"I don't care if people buy it or not. I'd just like to have it just for myself so I can work with good musicians and stuff."
And as for why he opted for acting over life as a rock star, Rob says, "My sisters were saying you can't make money out of music. I thought why not just see what happens with acting..."
Last October the British actor and his acoustic guitar performed at L.A's Whiskey-A-Go-Go but he says open mic nights are a thing of the past after “it ended up on YouTube and ruined the whole thing for me.”
Los Angeles has gone Robert Pattinson crazy. After the “Twilight” star landed in LaLa land and was spotted out on the town, he has been the subject of constant reports on his every move. In fact, it seems the whole town is engaged in "Rob Spotting."
Although there still has been no official confirmation, Rob is expected to be a presenter along with "Twilight co-sart Kristen Stewart at the Academy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 21) night.
But fans may not get a chance to see him walk the red carpet! Presenters have been asked to avoid the spotlight to maintain the suspense. So what has Rob been up to?
The British actor - who is reportedly set to present an Academy Award at Sunday's Oscars ceremony - admits he fears someone will one day find out his address and plan to kill him.
"I go through [fan mail] myself," explains Pattinson, "but I think I might get them censored, because I'm always expecting to get the one thing that says, 'I know where you live and I'm going to kill you!'
"I'm always expecting that to come, but it never seems to arrive.
"I never get any negative mail, so someone must be censoring them."
However, Pattinson - who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the recent Twilight film - insists he isn't scared of his fans, just big groups of people.
"I'm just scared of crowds," he joked. "I just think people require things of me whenever there's a screaming crowd, and I always think I won't be able to provide what they want, so that's why I look scared all the time.
"Mexico was quite scary - but in a good way. I mean, it's always kind of amusing because it's all so new to me."
